Experience Zanzibar
A New Adventure Every Day
Zanzibar is much more than its beaches. Our staff organizes tailor-made excursions to help you explore the island in depth: coral reefs, lush forests, exotic spices, Swahili culture, and the ocean changing colors at sunset.
FULL DAY
Nyange — Zanzibar’s Hidden Sandbank
The Nyange excursion is one of Zanzibar’s most captivating experiences: a white sandbank that emerges only during low tide, creating a temporary island in the heart of the Indian Ocean. Located within the protected area of Menai Bay, Nyange is considered a quieter and more authentic alternative to the famous Nakupenda, ideal for those seeking peace, crystal-clear waters, and an exclusive experience. Nyange is renowned for its intimate and uncrowded atmosphere, perfect for couples, families, and travelers looking to experience the magic of an island that "disappears" twice a day. Here you can take spectacular photos, learn the Swahili names of local fruits, and enjoy a delicious lunch with your feet in the water.
FULL DAY
Safari Blue — Coral Reef Snorkeling
Departure at 8:00 AM, arriving at the Fumba embarkation point after about an hour’s drive. We will set sail on a traditional dhow to discover breathtaking marine landscapes dotted with small atolls, deserted islets, marine life, and sandbanks that emerge for just a few hours from the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean. Enjoy a swim in the mangrove lagoon and visit one of the largest Baobab trees in the world. The Safari Blue is a full-day excursion that includes a traditional Zanzibari lunch served on a deserted island, featuring coconut rice, grilled lobster and fish, Zanzibari fries, exotic fruits, and drinks of your choice.
HALF DAY
Stone Town & Spice Tour
Zanzibar is known as the "Spice Island", and legend has it that early sailors reached its shores simply by following the aroma. This tour is a sensory journey to discover fruit trees, aromatic plants, medicinal herbs, and above all, spices. During the farm visit, your guide will explain how spices like vanilla, cardamom, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger are cultivated and used for cooking and natural medicine. You will have the chance to touch, smell, and taste fresh spices. The tour continues into Stone Town, visiting the capital's most significant historical sites: the vibrant Darajani Market (opened in 1904), the Anglican Cathedral built in 1874 on the former slave market site, the 18th-century Old Fort, and the historic alleys of this UNESCO World Heritage site.
FULL DAY
Tumbatu Island Snorkeling
Departure directly from the beach by speedboat heading towards the Tumbatu Marine Reserve. Enjoy snorkeling in the pristine, crystal-clear waters of this marine protected area, home to a diverse array of marine species thriving along Zanzibar’s coral reef. Snorkeling equipment (mask and fins) is fully included.
FULL DAY
Secrets of the Island
A complete island tour: visit a local school and a traditional village where guests will learn how to cook authentic Zanzibari dishes, enjoying the meal together afterwards. After lunch, the tour continues to a monkey sanctuary, hidden secret beaches, and the coastal scenery of Michamvi.
